I woke up one morning in such a beautiful mood, with a busy day ahead. I wanted to ensure my house was in order. (That’s the only way I know I can enjoy my day !)

So…..

• Washing up – Done!
• Take clothes the washing line (which were left over night as I completely forgot about them) – Done!
• Fold clothes – Done!

Then decided to prepare brunch and once that was done i sat at the table and ate whilst staring out the window lost in thought. I smiled when i saw a squirrel scurry through the garden so quickly and just disappeared over the fence….. I sighed smiling and continue eating…….

A thought comes to mind … what’s going on with my son’s presentation today that his dad is supposed to be taking him to ??

The last conversation we had was earlier on the week he said he was going to ask his mum to take him as we both could not attend and I said get back to me and I’ll ask a couple friends….. it’s now Saturday and it’s its starts at 2pm

So I ask my son what’s happening, he said he don’t know. I  said call your dad and find out.

Anyway I continued to get myself ready and my eldest child comes down and says dad has asked her to take her brother to the presentation

I said “KL” – that’s nice of you. She continued to explain that it starts at 2pm and finishes at 3pm – her statement reminded me that I arranged with their dad to collect everybody. I told her I will be there at 3.30pm as I will leave work earlier to ensure I am there…

My daughter then says “ Don’t worry Sasha is coming to pick us up and stay at the presentation and then drop us back. There was a moment of silence. Ok – Hold up! Sasha is my friend who is friends with my children’s father through me, so hold up wait a minute – why is my friend making arrangements for my children via their dad without consulting with me first??

Ok, before I tell you what happened next, I want to hear from mothers and fathers about this scenario. How would you feel if you were in my position or anyone mentioned??
